In addition to numerous configuration options, the roaster has the same technology and quality as all LEOGAP roasters. The roasting process is carried out in a drum and among the options, it can be equipped with a tangential pre-dryer (optional), significantly increasing its production capacity and fuel economy. An ecological roaster that through partial or total recirculation allows a more sustainable and low-consumption roasting process. The roaster is controlled and monitored through the Profile Roasting software.

Control

The ProMundo roasters are equipped with an effective control system, the roasting curve is programmed using the Profile Roasting software. In this context, high-quality hardware and software guarantee maximum production reliability and safety. Customers can choose from a variety of PLC solutions and visualization concepts according to their individual demands.

  • Roasting profile with parameterization of up to 10 nominal points, allowing the roasting time adjustment, temperature control, airflow, and water injection
  • Clear and detailed visualization of the evolution of the roasting curve
  • User-defined recipe management
  • Memorization of relevant data to the product and the process
  • Solutions for collecting and storing information in a Microsoft SQL Server Express database, exporting data to excel, and printing reports for each roast, such as roasting time, furnace temperature, inlet and outlet weight, among others
  • The automatic control system of the operation via LEOGAP´s exclusive monitoring and management system
  • PLC system with network frequency drivers
  • Operation history and alarm listing functions with a user-friendly interface
  • The roaster can be controlled either remotely, via the control room, or locally, via the HMI (Human Machine Interface) installed on the panel next to the roaster
  • Monitoring and control of temperature, airflow, water injection, and drives by means of thermocouples, sensors, and inverters
  • The roaster control system safely controls, by means of return signals, alarm signals, and Interlock logic, that the roasting process is finalized with the maximum reduction of risks in emergencies
ENVIRONMENT COST-BENEFIT

LEOGAP roasters recirculate the gases released during the roasting process and use their thermal energy to create an more environmentally friendly environment. The surplus gases are partially used to dry the coffee and, then, after the treatment, they are released into the environment attending to the ecological requirements.
